About Us
Mission
Talitha Koomi Center has been striving to increase socio-economic status of marginalized, underprivileged & oppressed women and provide legal aid to those who are victims of various forms of violence in Pakistan.
Talitha Koomi Center was envisioned in the year 2000 by like-minded women under the leadership and guidance of Rev. Dr. Khushnud Mussarat and Ms. Shunila Ruth to help the underprivileged & the oppressed women who are victims of various forms of violence and find it very difficult to pursue the injustices done to them.
Specific Objectives are to:
1. Rescue and rehabilitate women victims’ of violence
2. Increase level of awareness among men and women about human rights in gender perspective.
3. Economically empower the women to enable them to lead dignified and respectful life.
4. Provide quality maternal healthcare services particularly to women live below poverty line.
