My name is Saba. My father is a laborer. He works on daily wages. We live in a rented house. I could not carry on my education due to various reasons.

For years I did nothing but remained in the four walls of my house. One day I came to Talitha Kumi with my friend to attend a seminar on women’s rights. It was very encouraging. So, I decided to do something. I came to Talitha Kumi for some guidance. I was advised to learn some skills. Three months ago I have completed the one year long course of sewing. I learnt sewing, cutting, stitching, different embroidery de signs and fabric dying. 

Now I am working with at my home and providing tailoring services to the nearby people.

I am so happy that now I can help my father in earning livelihood. I thank to Talitha Kumi not only for the skill they have given me but also their direction and counseling.
