Partners' Network Meetings

Talitha Kumi was invited by The Church of Sweden for the Partner’s meeting held on 2 – 5 October 2016 in Best Western Hotel, Islamabad. The purposes of the meeting were;

• Share work and priorities of organizations with one-another within specific themes.

• Follow up and deepen perspectives from the Church of Sweden gender consultation in 2015.

• Consult partners about the Church of Sweden strategy for Pakistan 2018-2021 based on a context analysis.

Representatives from NCA-Pakistan, ROZAN, PEAD, Faith Friends, BaanhnBeli, Christian Study Center, Church of Pakistan and Talitha KUMI shared their organization’s goals, main activities and challenges that hinder development work.

Shunila Ruth & Azher Adil represent Talitha Kumi in this meeting. It was good learning experience and opportunity to build network with the organization sharing common agendas within gender justice and peace-building perspective.
