Rev. Adrienna Gastellu-Camp and Rev. Gonar Gunner visit Talitha KUMI Center

One Wednesday, 14 June 2017, Rev. Adriana Gastellu-Camp from Church Sweden and Rev. Goran Gunner from Uniting Church of Sweden visited Talitha KUMI Center to meet with the staff & women from the community served by Talitha KUMI.
Shunila Ruth the honorary Director of Talitha KUMI welcomed and garlanded the honorable guests. She said that people of Sweden nurture Talitha KUMI since its inception in year 2000. The present issues and problems of Pakistani women were discussed. The ongoing program activities were shared with them. The challenges Talitha KUMI facing was also shared that no residential facilities (shelter home) for survivors (victims of violence) & students is available.
The guests were also met with the women victims of violence. They also met with midwifery students, sewing and beautician trainees.

Guests appreciated the work of Talitha KUMI for bailing women out of misery, unemployment or sickness to a new life with dignity and respect.
Shunila Ruth thanked Rev. Adriana and Rev. Goran and wished that this visit shall further strengthen the partnership between Talitha KUMI and Churches in Sweden.
