Talitha KUMI legal team recovered Eric from illegal detention
Shahzadi’s husband, Eric, was illegal and improperly detained by the Police for a month without registering any case and charges. The Police did not produce him before the court of law to get his remand. Even the police did not allow Shahzadi to see him.
Shahzadi was so worried about the safety and security of her husband. She did not know why police had arrested him.
She was referred to Talitha KUMI by a Pastor for legal remedy.
Talitha KUMI legal team met with the concerned police officer and demanded a copy of FIR (First Investigation Report) in which charges was framed against Eric. But Police Office denied that Eric was detained in that Police station.
A writ petition has been filed in Lahore High Court by the Talitha KUMI legal team. Lahore High Court had appointed a bailiff who recovered detenue Eric. Court also ordered Police Department Head to take legal action against the police officers involved.
