Gender & Religion Conference

A Three Day partner’s consultation on “Gender and Religion” was held in Yangon, Myanmar from 25th to 28th April 2018 jointly organized by Gender Study Centre of Myanmar Institute of Theology and Church of Sweden. There were about 25 participants all the way from Philippines, India, Pakistan, Brazil, Sweden and Myanmar.

Azher Adil from Talitha KUMI participated in the consultation.

The aim of the consultation is to exchange and learn for each other experiences with different context of religion and gender-Justice. It was also an opportunity to evaluate and suggest improvement for gender justice work of Church of Sweden in the respective Program countries.
